THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Women's Commission on Tuesday issued notices to actor Mammootty, director Nithin Renji Panicker and producer Alice George for some scenes and dialogues allegedly portraying women in bad light in Malayalam movie 'Kasaba'.
Commission chairperson K Rosakutty said actors like Mammootty making such substandard dialogues threatening a woman police officer on duty in the film could lead to a dangerous acceptance of such actions in the society.

The commission will write to the film certification board to ensure that such scenes and dialogues are avoided at the time of certification itself.
