Alex Sensation is more than a radio DJ. Aside from hosting a daily show on Mega 97.9 FM — New York City’s most-listened-to Hispanic station — Sensation is a brand ambassador, a working DJ, the host of annual arena concerts, a recognized tastemaker and a recording artist.
Now, Sensation (real name Javier Alexander Salazar), has signed a recording deal with Universal Music Latin Entertainment and Indi-E Entertainment Group, under the label In-Tu-Linea. Sensation will also be co-managed by In-Tu-Linea and The Hachar Entertainment Group, a division of The Hachar Law Firm.

“Alex Sensation’s evolution as a DJ and radio personality, his ability to identify hits and now, his evolution as an artist, make him a unique talent, respected by the artistic community,” Indi-e-Entertainment CEO Jorge Pino said in a statement. “His music comes backed by the biggest urban acts in the market.”
Sensation has long recorded singles with different acts, but this would be his first bona fide recording deal and certainly his first major distribution deal.
“I’ve worked in music for a long time and I’m really excited to share my musical visión and to continue collaborating with my industry friends,” Sensation said.
Sensation’s first single with In-Tu-Linea, to be released in the coming months, will feature a major act.
