A pregnant woman in the U.S. says a car intentionally hit her while she was playing Pokemon Go.
KCTV reports Kaitlyn Shelton, of Gladstone, Miss., was out with her friends on July 15 playing the massively popular game when a vehicle
After Shelton's sister, Ashley, shouted at the van, the driver allegedly reversed and drove over Shelton. She went to hospital with bruises and cuts after the incident and doctors had to perform a C-section to save her child.
“I woke up thinking I needed to get my baby out. And he was already here,” Shelton, who was 38 weeks pregnant, told Fox4KC.
The new mom says her boyfriend pulled her out from underneath the car, according to Global News.
Doctors say she and her newborn Joshua will be OK. But Shelton wants the driver of the vehicle to be found.
"I want the person to be caught for everyone else," she told KCTV.
"That way, nobody else is hit and left on the side of the road like I was.”
