Brazilian defender Marquinhos has admitted to being flattered after hearing reports of interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Luis Enrique is believed to be interested in bringing the Paris Saint-Germain defender to the Camp Nou ahead of the new La Liga season, which begins on August 19.
Marquinhos has welcomed the interest from Barcelona but has suggested an exit from the Parc des Princes is unlikely due to the club's riches.
"I am happy that a big club like Barcelona are interested in signing me," Marquinhos told France Football. "I cannot deny that. We are talking about the biggest club in the world here.
"But I have to keep my feet firmly on the ground because PSG have never been open to selling me. We will see what happens."
Barcelona has already signed a center-back this summer, with France's impressive Samuel Umtiti moving to Catalonia from Lyon.
