Did You Know: 70th death anniversary of Gil Montilla
TODAY, July 20, is the 70th death anniversary of Gil Montilla, first National Assembly speaker.
Born Sept. 11, 1876, he was speaker from 1935 to 1938, then appointed Philippine Sugar Administrator in 1938.
He also served as Nacionalista Party president.
