Ritu Seth, who is best remembered for her role as Tulsi Virani's daughter Shobha Virani in one of the most epic shows of TV, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu is returning to the small screen after eight years with Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania.
The actress, who got immense popularity with Kyunki, compares the iconic show with childhood which is most precious to every individual.
"Yes, of course I am in touch with all of them.
Kyunki was my childhood. For everyone else childhood is the time which is very dear to you. The show is an integral part of who I am. It changed me as a person and as human being I learnt a lot. I am in touch with everybody and share a wonderful relationship with everyone. We all meet up and spend time with each other. I lean on most of them for advice," said Ritu.
When asked about the equation she shares with her on-screen mom from Kyunki, Smriti Irani, the actress revealed, "I can't say that we message her on regular basis or talk to her. Because you have to follow a certain protocol for getting in touch with a Minister. But I know this for sure that today if I or anyone else from Kyunki needs help, she will be the first person to stand by us. I know this for the fact because a co-actor wanted to meet her, she followed the protocol and Smriti immediately responded. She was received warmly."

Ritu also spoke about the fondest memories from Kyunki, "The first person that comes to my mind is Sudha Shivpuriji, who is more with us and I miss her like crazy. Kyunki we had a very big family and at any given point of time we had 15 or 16 people shooting together. At that time Sudhaji used to bring a 3ft long Tiffin box. She used to get up in the morning and cook for all of us. We all used to sit together and have food. I am getting goose bumps while talking about it. That is the fondest memory for me. We made a lot of memories. After Kyunki we worked on lot of other shows, but working on Kyunki will always be special," she said.

Taking about her eight years long hiatus, Ritu explained, "I had a daughter she is five and a half years old now and I had promised myself that I will give my entire time to her and that's what I did. She now has a full time school and my husband is a gem of a person. He told me now its enough you did your bit and sat at home now its my turn. That's why I am back to work."
The actress, who plays Priyansh Jora's on-screen Chachi in Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania feels she is starting her career all over again, "I think I am starting my career again and I have to prove my mettle as Madhu. The show is different of what we are seeing on-air today. Also the characterization is very different from each other. God willing the amount of hard work we are putting in I am hopeful that my work will be appreciated."
