'Rajni_Kant' makers ropes in actress Karuna Pandey in their next for Colors

The success of the writer duo Sonali and Amir Jaffer's debut production venture 'Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant' seems to have made them one of the most sought after producers in telly land. After bagging a slot on SAB TV with a show loosely based on the Hollywood chick-flick 'Charlie’s Angels', Sonali and Amir are now gearing up to make a show for Colors. The show titled ‘Devanshi’ will be set in Haryana.The production house has roped in actress Karuna Pandey to play the antagonist.
Karuna, who was last seen in a positive role in the TV show 'Bhaage Re Mann', says, “I have been approached, but nothing is confirmed yet. I am not at the liberty to talk about the project.”
Informs a source working on the project, “The show will be based on a superstition plaguing the Indian society. It will revolve around a girl child. Karuna is a brilliant actress and fits the part to a T.”
