‘Green warriors’ honoured

Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, at a function, here on Monday, honoured the sarpanches who completed the target of planting 40,000 saplings under the Haritha Haram programme in their gram panchayat limits.

Among those who received the felicitation included Bhudevi of Noothpally, D. Raju of Velmal, Shaik Ahmed of Old Rajampet, Lakshman from Bheemgal, M. Swapna of Bada Bheemgal, G. Lakshmi of Beechpally, Vaddepally sarpanch Sunil, Chandrayanpally sarpanch Balavva, Doosgoan sarpanch Jamuna, Gangamani of Pentakalan in Bodhan mandal and G. Lingam of Bibipet in Domakonda mandal.
