Sunny Wayn plays a good Samaritan in his cameo
Sunny Wayn is known for his special appearances in films that create quite an impact. Be it the Majeed in Thattathin Marayathu or Ashley in Annayum Rasoolum, the actor had pulled off his cameos in an effective manner. Now, he will again be seen in a cameo in debutant director Pramod Gopal's film, Gold Coins.
'It is a movie about two children. I appear in it as a man named Katha, who comes to save the kids when they get into a trouble.
Like an angel, he comes and helps them to come out of a serious issue,' says Sunny.
Pramod describes that the Second Show actor's character is the representation of people, who despite being strangers lend a hand. 'The film is about Achu and Kichu hailing from Kumarakom, who set out to find the real owner of a prize they win. They meet Sunny during the trip. He is a symbol of those strangers we meet in our lives. They come, help us and go. We don't know their names or their whereabouts,' he explains, adding that Sunny has nearly half an hour to perform in the film.
'My movie is a realistic one. I like Sunny's acting. I like his movements, reactions and even his smile is so real. So I felt he is the right person to play Katha,' says Pramod.
Sunny says that it's the inherent message of the film that made him sign the movie. 'The film addresses a serious social issue in the society and it delivers a good message in the end. I am sure this movie will encourage us to think,' says the actor.
The movie also has Pattalam fame actress Tessa and Meera Nandan playing important roles.
