Unnikrishnan gives HBD a Tamil twist

Well, singer Unnikrishnan and his daughter Uthara have come out with a Tamil version of the song that is gaining traction on YouTube and WhatsApp. Unnikrishnan says, ���This came as a request from someone from the Tamil Federation in the US. The request actually came to lyricist and poet Arivumathi.They then contacted music composer Arrol Corelli of Pasanga 2 fame and he reached out to me. They wanted a child���s voice, so Uthara was roped in and I sang a few parts, too.���
What makes it more interesting is that this song was released on Unnikrishnan���s birthday. ���The song was released on July 9, on my 50th birthday. It���s a nice feeling. The song was recorded in my studio and was completed in about 45 minutes. I hope this song gets popular and more people get to wish their loved ones in their native language. It is a great idea and should be promoted,��� he says.
