Didier Drogba and Andrea Pirlo in Major League Soccer All-Star squad to face Arsenal

Arsenal will face the best of MLS in the 2016 MLS All-Star Game at Avaya Stadium in San Jose

The Major League Soccer All-Star squad to face Arsenal has been revealed and includes Didier Drogba, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo.

The two sides meet in a friendly game live on Sky Sports in the early hours of July 29 at the Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California and the roster for the American league's contingent was announced on Sunday. 

Twenty-four of the 26 selected players were chosen by All-Star head coach Dominic Kinnear, with the 11 players chosen in the Fan XI on July 9 included in the squad. 

Drogba, Kaka and Pirlo were all chosen by the public, alongside Giovani dos Santos, David Villa and current MLS MVP Sebastian Giovinco among others.

The San Jose Earthquakes manager also added former Premier League players Clint Dempsey and Liam Ridgewell to the squad alongside Commissioner Don Garber's selections of Mauro Diaz and Kyle Beckerman. 

The roster will also feature a number of new faces, as 16 squad members will be appearing in their first All-Star Game.
