Sub :Rectification in the announcement made with respect to date of passing of resolutions by postal ballot

We refer to our letter No.SL/SE/BK-5/1434/2016 dated 11th June 2016 regarding declaration of result of Postal ballot held during the voting period from 11th May 2016 till 9th June 2016 .In the declaration of result made by us, we have mentioned that the resolutions are deemed to have been passed on 11th June 2016, being the date of declaration of result. However, Clause 16.6.3 of Secretarial Standard-2 provides thatresolutions, if passed by postal ballot with requisite majority,shall be deemed to havebeen passed on the last date specified by the Company for receipt of duly completed postal ballot forms or e-voting.

Accordingly, the date of passing of the resolutions by postal ballot may be treated as 9th June 2016, being the last date specified by the Company for receipt of duly completed postal ballot forms or e-voting, instead of 11th June 2016.
