CBSE urges participation in Heritage India Quiz
The CBSE has urged its affiliated schools to participate in the Heritage India Quiz for the 2016-17 academic session.

Guwahati: The CBSE has urged its affiliated schools to participate in the Heritage India Quiz for the 2016-17 academic session.
In the quiz, 25% of the questions will be on the cultural practices and heritage of the northeastern states of India.
The first phase of the quiz will be conducted tentatively between the first week of October and mid-November, 2016.Each school will be represented by three students from classes IX-XII.
Winners from each city chapter will qualify for the regional finals, where six teams will participate. The regional chapters will be held between mid-November to the first week of December this year. The national semi-finals and the final will tentatively be held in mid-December, 2016 in Delhi.
