Police notice to Gurukul Kangri varsity V-C

HARIDWAR: The police served a notice on Gurukul Kangri University Vice-Chancellor Surendra Kumar here today in a case regarding submission of fake educational documents.

The police served a notice on Gurukul Kangri University Vice-Chancellor Surendra Kumar here today in a case regarding submission of fake educational documents. The case was registered at Kankhal police station last week.

Notably, on July 10, Haripal Singh, a resident of Majhaula village in Saharanpur district, had filed a complaint at Kankhal police station that Surendra had used fake educational certificates to become Vice-Chancellor.

Station House Officer Ritesh Shah said a notice had been served on Gurukul Kangri University as part of investigation. Meanwhile, Surendra said he had received the notice and would reply to it soon. He reiterated that the case had been filed with a mala fide intention. He claimed that all his educational certificates were true legal and according to the Gurukul mode of educational system.
