Gujarat CM declares Aravalli as judicial district

Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel, while declaring Aravalli as Judicial District said that the state government has worked extensively on planning to construct court buildings with advanced facilities in each district of the state.

GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel, while declaring Aravalli as Judicial District said that the state government has worked extensively on planning to construct court buildings with advanced facilities in each district of the state.
Patel laid foundation stone of the District Court here in the head-quarter of Aravalli district – Modasa in presence of high court chief justice R Subhash Reddy and Law Minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja.
The district court building will be constructed with modern facilities with a cost of Rs 40.75 crore. On the occasion she said that the designs of district-taluka seva sadan and court campuses in newly formed districts have been constructed with considering facilities to the people. It is needful for the judiciary system and the rulers of the state to perform their responsibilities as people-centric. We have planned to provide all the information to the stakeholders of both sides regarding their cases by usage of communication technologies within the campus.
She clearly said that the role of the judiciary system and rulers should be pro-active with a view to reduce pendency of cases relating women through family court and to provide quick justice. In this regard she suggested adopting humane approach to provide quick and timely justice. She appealed advocates-justices for quick justice to resolve financial burden bared by common people due to surplus cases and unnecessary delays.
The then Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has declared and made functional these new 7 districts. Today, I have declared Aravalli as a judicial district from the series of those districts. The state government has begun the work to construct district – taluka seva sadans in those newly formed districts with a cost of Rs 360 crores, she added.
Chief Justice of Gujarat high court R Subhash Reddy praised about the interest taken by Patel and law minister for development of infrastructural facilities in justice system of the state. Law Minister Pradeepsinh Jadeja said that the state government is committed to provide justice to people on time at their door-step. Aravalli District Bar Association President Hirabhai Patel and Unit Judge S G Shah gave occasional speeches. Patel and other dignitaries distributed cheques to the beneficiaries of various government schemes.
