5 Android smartphones under Rs 30,000 with a 2K display

Smartphones went from 720p to 1080p, to 2K being the most common resolution.

Quad HD, or 2560 x 1440 pixels on a display can result in a wildly crisp pixel density of over 500 pixels per inch, depending upon the phone's display.

The high pixel density race began in 2010 when the Apple quadrupled the number of pixels on their iPhone 4, calling it ‘Retina Display’. Today, the 326PPI pixel density of that iPhone, although adequate, is definitely not considered the most crisp, as Android phones retaliated by bumping their display resolutions in subsequent years We went from 720p, to 1080p to 2K (Quad HD) being the most common resolution used in smartphones today. Sony did make a phone with a 4K display, but it doesn’t seem like the rest of the pack has followed.

A crisper display offers better readability of text, sharper images and videos and is suitable for big smartphones with screen sizes ranging from 5.5 and above. Although Quad HD displays on smartphone started appearing in 2014, this year it’s come to a point where some phones priced as low as Rs 20,000 also are sporting them.
