July 17, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - KARIMNAGAR:

The Karimnagar Two Town police have registered an FIR against Hyderabad Member of Parliament and MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi under IPC sections 121, 124 (a) and 153 (b) and CrPC section 156 (3), and launched investigations. Following a complaint lodged by BJP leader and advocate Bethi Mahender Reddy, the Karimnagar Two Town police station registered an FIR number 228 on Saturday. The BJP leader alleged that Mr Owaisi was encouraging anti-nationals by announcing to extend legal aid to the terror suspects arrested by the NIA in Hyderabad recently. He charged that the MIM leader, being an MP, was waging a war against the government.
