Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma has said the primary school at Somakhera-Katopuri village in Rewari district, which was earlier upgraded to middle school, has now been upgraded to Class XII.
He said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had earlier given approval to upgrade the primary school to middle level by relaxing rules of the School Education Department. This school has now been further upgraded on the request of Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Cooperation Minister Bikram Singh.
He said orders had been issued to the District Elementary Education Officer to promptly make the upgraded school functional. He also urged the villagers to end their agitation keeping in view children’s education.
