Jabalpur: In a case of revenge killing, a student of class 11 stabbed his junior schoolmate over 50 times in Jabalpur district.
The deceased had reportedly thrashed one of the friends of the accused and the latter executed the crime to take revenge. The incident took place at Bhedaghat in Jabalpur district. Blood-stained body of 15-year old deceased identified as Prashan Chouksey, a student of class 9, was found near Tripura Sundari Temple of the locality on July 12, said police.
During the course of investigations it was found that Prashan was last seen with another teenager of his school who studies in class 11, police said. On interrogation the teenager admitted of killing Prashan.
The teenager, who was arrested on Friday and sent to juvenile home, told police that Prashan used to thrash him. In December last year, he had a fight with the teenager and thereafter the deceased thrashed him several times. In a bid to take revenge, the accused hatched a conspiracy along with four of his friends and invited Prashan for liquor. All the teenagers consumed liquor on Monday night and when Prashan got inebriated they attacked him.
