Youth dies 2 days after marriage

Rourkela: A 26-year-old youth died of snakebite on Friday, two days after his marriage. Choudhry Das of Pandua village in Gobindpur gram panchayat was working as an electrician in the local electricity office.
On Wednesday, his marriage was solemnized at Lahunipara and on Thursday morning he along with his bride had returned home.
His marriage reception was scheduled on Friday and Choudhury busy in the arragements slept only in the wee hours.Suddenly he complained of leg pain and admitted to Bonei sub-divisional hospital.
The hospital staffs suspected it to be a case of snake bite and referred him to Rourkela Government Hospital, but he died on the way
After post mortem, we handed over the body to his family members, said sub-inspector of Bonei police station Rabindra Biswal.
