The man who admitted to spray painting anti-Muslim and anti-Syrian messages on the walls of a northwest CTrain station, vehicles in the station’s parking lot, and a nearby gas station in December 2015, has received an 11 month sentence.

On Friday, Judge Fradsham sentenced Kyle Mackenzie in connection with the Tuscany LRT station vandalism spree.

With enhanced credit for time served, MacKenzie has completed his time behind bars. Mackenzie has been ordered to undergo counselling for anger management and will remain on probation for two years.

Charges against Miguel Lavergne, the co-accused in the vandalism, were previously stayed.
