New Delhi: Airtel 2G, Tata DoCoMo 2G and Aircel 2G and 3G failed the call drop test carried out in Trivandrum by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the telecom regulator said in a report released on Friday.
"All the operators have met the Call Drop Rate benchmark under 2% except Airtel 2G, Aircel 2G & 3G and Tata DoCoMo 2G," the report said.
The Call Drop Rate was the highest for Tata DoCoMo at 3.80%, followed by Airtel 2G at 2.82%, while Vodafone and Idea fared well in the test.
All the operators met the Call Setup Success Rate benchmark of over 95%.
The audit was carried out by audit agency M/s CS Datamation in the city of Trivandrum from 1st to 3rd June 2016 covering various locations in the city over a distance of 350 kilometers.
