Gandhinagar: Food and Civil Supply minister, Government of Gujarat Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama today held a meeting with toor dal producers and bulk dealers. He said toor dal price was Rs 180 since last September, but with efforts of the state government, it was always available in Gujarat for Rs 135/kg. He said toor dal price will further come down gradually by upcoming September. He said, in his telephonic talk with Ramvilas Paswan, he asked when Gujarat will get its 6500 mt toor dal stock. In reply Paswan said it will arrive by the end of August. Gujarat has also witnessed 10% more sowing of toor dal this year. It is estimated that toor dal price will come down gradually by September.
