Rajinikanth's Kabali spooks Sudeep, Shivarajkumar

Despite which state you are in, there is an unwritten rule ' that you do not release your movie when a Rajinikanth film is about to hit theaters, as you greatly risk loosing out on theatres and ticket sales.
And this is what has happened with the Kannada film industry as well. Several kananda film has put off their releases in lieu of Kabali's release, which was first supposed to be on July 15, but is now slated for July 22.
Shivarajkumar's Santeyalli Ninta Kabeera was scheduled to hit theatres on July 22, which was supposed to be a week after Kabali. But once it was announced that Kabali's release day was pushed by a week, the makers of Sateyalli... have decided to wait till July 29 to release it.
Apart from this, the release of Sudeep's Kotigobba 2 has also been rescheduled owing to Kabali's release. The film will most likely hit theatre screens in August.
