Biker dies following crash with van in Fife

A 31-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash with a van in Fife.

The accident happened on the A907 at Bogside, west of Devilla Quarry, at about 19:05 on Thursday.

The road was closed for more than five-and-a-half hours while police carried out an investigation at the scene.

Sgt Derek Allan, of Police Scotland, said: "Anyone who was on the A907 on Thursday evening and witnessed the incident is asked to contact police immediately."
