China’s LCD production to reach 80% level of Korea by 2018

[THE INVESTOR] China’s production of larger liquid-crystal display panels, mostly for TVs, is expected to reach the 80 percent level of Korea’s current production in the next three years, a local research firm predicted in a recent report.

According to UBI Research, about 525,000 larger LCD panels are estimated to be produced in China and Taiwan from 2018, considering additional investments planned in the coming years.
