World University secures BCI approval to run Law School

Fatehgarh Sahib, July 15(UNI) Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU) has secured the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI) to establish the University School of Law from the academic session 2016-17.
According to the approval granted by the BCI, the University is now eligible to run the 5 year integrated BA- LL.B. course as well as the 3 year LL.B. course. Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr Gurmohan Singh Walia was elated with the decision of the BCI and said that the hard work put in by the University staff and authorities for this approval has borne fruition.
He said that the main aim behind establishing this law school is not only to provide able and efficient lawmakers to the society but also responsible citizens who are aware of their rights and duties towards the nation.
