The legacy of peace

ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar, organised a three-day international exhibition titled ‘A Legacy of Peace’. It was held in collaboration with Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG).

The exhibition was inaugurated by Vishesh Gupta, Chairperson BSG and Dinesh Kumar Bhawsar, Deputy Education Advisor, Dept. of School Education & Literacy. The exhibition showcased various movements started by Mahatma Gandhi, Daisaku Ikeda and Matin Luther King Jr , who had all chosen the path of non-violence.

An inter-school slogan writing and poster making competitions were also organised.

In Hindi slogan writing Aadya Jha bagged the first prize and in English slogan writing Anubhab Sahoo got the first prize in VI-VIII class category. Ishita Saxena bagged the first prize in the poster making competition for senior category.

School Chairman KL Luthra reiterated that global peace is the need of the hour.
