Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso did not play in his side's game against Fenerbahce as widely reported in the media.
Wakaso, 25, joined the Greens on a three-year deal from Russian side Rubin Kazan.
And reports were that he was set to play his first preseason game on Thursday for the club but the Ghanaian did not feature in that game GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Wakaso who is expected to explode for the Greek side continues to work his way up with regards to fitness as he eyes consistency in Athens.
The Black Stars midfielder was on loan at Spanish Club Las Palmas last season before agreeing to move to Greece with Panathinaikos.
