Mullana also hits out at Kiran

Former state Congress Phool Chand Mulana today criticised CLP leader Kiran Chaudhry over her praise for Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Talking to media persons here Mulana said her remarks had embarrassed the Congress and hurted the sentiments of party workers. A letter seeking strict action against her had been written to the party president Sonia Gandhi, he said.

Mulana termed Kiran’s statement, in which she called Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar an honest and a decent man, as shocking. He said such statements would demoralise the party workers throughout the state.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former minister Nirmal Singh has also objected to Kiran’s statement.
