Soori plays one of the leads in Gaurav's next

We had earlier reported that actress Manjima Mohan will be joining Udhayanidhi Stalin for Gaurav Narayanan's upcoming film. The latest buzz about this project is that Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam fame Soori will also be joining the team.
Talking to us about Soori's role, Gaurav says, 'I am very glad that Soori is part of the project. This will not be one of those films where he comes as the hero's friend, cracks a few jokes and leaves.This will be an entirely different role. In fact, when he heard the story, he said this will be a 'character of a lifetime'; it will be different and will be interesting,' says the director.
Another update about the project is that there are a few other important characters who are yet to be finalised. 'Talks are still on with a couple of actors for supporting roles. I am also yet to finalise the music composer for the film. I am hoping that things will fall into place in a week's time,' shares Gaurav.
