Unnao celebrates second arrival of its ‘bahu’

Unnao: The district broke into celebration after hearing news about the second ‘home-coming’of its ‘bahu’ after two decades. Sheila Dikshit is the daughter-in-law of late Uma Shankar Dikshit, a former party stalwart. Gautam Dixit, her brother-in-law, said that the Congress party had taken a right decision by selecting Sheila Ji as the CM face of the party. He said that the people of the state were fed up with the deteriorating law and order and corruption.“The party has chosen her due to her expereince of heading the Delhi government for 15 years. She will take UP on the path of development with her vision and experience and provide good governance to the state,” he added.
Hariprasad Kureel, a senior Congressmen from Unnao said that it was a matter of pride that Sheila Dikshit had been chosen by Congress as its CM candidate. If she becomes UP CM, she will not only take the state on the path of development, but also strengthen the party in the state.
In Kanpur also, excited party workers distributed sweets to celebrate the announcement.
