Thanks to Pokémon Go, people are swarming around monuments, businesses and parks to catch and battle virtual creatures. You’ve probably also spotted them wandering around your apartment complex or near your grocery store. The game is creating a sense of community, and also some really hilarious photos.

College campuses are turning into Pokémon Universities, as students try to level up together.

Players are taking their dogs on extra long walks to hatch Pokémon eggs.

People are even organizing events around the game, including this Catch & Greet at a Las Vegas park.

Santa Monica Pier is attracting hundreds, not for entertainment and dining, but for Pokémon.

Central Park in New York has been so overrun with Pokémon Go players, the park issued a statement saying: "We understand that you #GottaCatchEmAll. But to all our visitors: Please respect the Park & be mindful."

Not to mention, Times Square is a hotbed for Pokéstops and lures.
