Hannstar Only Panel Maker Showing Annual Rise

June revenue figures have now been released by several of Taiwan’s panel makers.

AUO was up 2.6% MoM but fell 10.1% YoY, to NT$27.5 billion ($853.8 million). Consolidated revenues for Q2 reached NT$80.1 billion ($2.5 billion), up 12.6% QoQ and down 13.2% YoY.

Large-size (10″+) panel shipments reached 10 million units in June: a 5.2% MoM increase. Small-size panel shipments were down 5% MoM to 14 million units. For Q2, these figures stood at 28.5 million for large units (up 16.5% QoQ and 14.3% YoY) and 42.5 million for small units (up 12.6% QoQ but down 11.5% YoY).

Foxconn‘s revenues were NT$305 billion ($9.5 billion), up 3.25% MoM and down 4.25% YoY. In Q2, the firm’s revenues totalled NT$922.8 billion ($192 billion); down 3.67% QoQ and 5.12% YoY. Year-to-date revenues were NT$1.9 trillion ($395.2 billion), down 5.35% YoY.

Revenues at Hannstar Display were NT$1.4 billion ($43.5 million), slipping 2.3% MoM but rising 6.6% YoY. For Q2 revenues were up 11.9% QoQ but down 2.5% YoY, to NT$4 billion ($124.2 million). In the January-June period, Hannstar reported revenues of NT$7.6 billion ($236 million), down 19.1% YoY.

Hannstar Display shipped 22.3 million small-to-medium size panels and 90,000 large panels in June. These figures were down 7.5% and 58.3% MoM, respectively.

Innolux was up 3.8% MoM but fell 22.5% YoY. June revenues reached NT$23.4 billion ($728.1 million). The firm shipped 9.5 million large panels (down 1.2% MoM) and 18 million small panels (up 0.4%).

Revenues in Q2 were NT$66.8 billion ($2.1 billion), down 28.7% YoY, although up 18.4% QoQ. Shipments in the quarter were 27.3 million large and almost 55 million small units, rising 19.1% and 17.1% QoQ, respectively.
