Rahul should have been made UP CM face: BJP president

Lucknow, Jul 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh president of Bharatiya Janata Party Keshav Prasad Maurya today said Rahul Gandhi would have been a better choice as Chief Ministerial candidate for Congress as Sheila Dikshit would not make any impact in the state.

''Congress is trying to fool people. They know it is B team to Samajwadi Party. Sheila Dikshit has been made a scapegoat. If Congress is serious it should have announced Rahul Gandhi as Chief Ministerial candidate,” he said, reacting to Congress decision to project former Delhi Chief Minister as CM face in UP polls.
