Vodafone India, the country’s leading
telecom operator has partnered with BonusHub to ease the lives of daily commuters of the
Delhi Noida Direct (DND) Flyway. Commuters can now use Vodafone’s
M-Pesadigital wallet to top up their
DND Flyway Gold, Silver and RFID cards.
DND Flyway registers close to 1.20 lakh vehicles on an average weekday, and about 20% of them use Gold, Silver and RFID cards. This initiative will help in saving the time for quite a lot of commuters.
Vodafone M-Pesa is a unique
Digital Wallet service that offers money transfer, bill and utility payments, merchant payments and business solutions.
With a network of 1,20,060 agents and over 5.4mn customers, it is the largest business banking correspondent in the country.
Recently,
Vodafone entered into a strategic partnership with retailer Walmart India to enable its business members make payments using the telco's M-Pesa mobile wallet service.
"This tie-up will enable business members of Best Price Modern Wholesale stores of Walmart to make payments using M-Pesa from their mobiles," Vodafone India said in a statement.
The facility will initially be available at Walmart stores in Lucknow, Amravati, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Guntur.
