Meanwhile, Alf stands his ground on an important matter, while Evie struggles to forget the past and focus on what’s ahead. Elsewhere, VJ makes a decision that greatly affects his relationship with Billie. Ash, on the other hand, feels guilty for concealing the truth from his girlfriend.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episode. In the trailer, Matt wonders to Kat, “You guys are not going to find anything, right?” However, it seems he’s the one who discovers something – the envelope of money left by Andy to Ash. Matt confronts Ash about it. Meanwhile, Kat sits down with Ash for a serious talk. “I need to know,” she tells him. “Look me in the eye and tell me that the garage is not being used as a chop shop.”

Elsewhere, John and Marilyn’s life are put in line when their foster child Jordan swings a knife at them. The troubled teen yells, “You said you trusted me!” Speaking of troubled teens, VJ drops a bombshell to Billie. “I’m quitting school,” he says, which enrages both his mum and his girlfriend. “You’re making a huge life-changing decision without even talking to me,” Billie berates him. “I can’t do this anymore.” VJ asks her, “Are you breaking up with me?”

“Home and Away” recap

On Wednesday, Nate and Danika slept together after just one date. He received a call from Tori, who asked him to go to the hospital as soon as possible. Danika said she had a great time with him and said they should do it again. Nate agreed, but looked hesitant. Later, Danika bumped into Nate at the beach. She invited him for another date to “pick up where they left off,” just as when Tori was walking by. Tori asked who she was and Nate said she was just a friend.

Meanwhile, Brody was rushed to the hospital after sustaining head injury from Spike’s attack. Decker arrived and informed the Morgans that Blaine and Lara are now behind bars but Spike got away. Decker assured them that Spike doesn’t seem the type to pursue them further and the syndicate still has no idea about their whereabouts. The officer said they could stay in Summer Bay and have normal lives for now. After Nate examined Brody, it turned out that he showed no signs of internal bleeding but there’s a large of bruising on his head. Mason blamed himself for Brody’s situation, but it seemed Tori’s putting someone else responsible.

When Phoebe arrived, Brody finally woke up, and the whole family breathed a sigh of relief. Justin turned emotional and walked away from the room. Meanwhile, Nate grilled Tori about their sudden disappearance. He clearly did not buy Mason’s story earlier about visiting their grandma. Tori refused to budge and assured Nate she’s fine. Later, Tori and Mason found Justin at Salt. Justin apologised for everything, but Tori lashed at him for lying. She couldn’t believe that their mum took a bullet for him and he didn’t say anything about it. Tori and Justin argued while both were in tears, until she said the killer words, “Stay away from us.” The next day, Phoebe spotted Justin sleeping at the shore. Justin said his family had a big argument and he had nowhere else to go. Phoebe invited him to stay at her house.

Roo finally learned why Alf and Duncan are not in good terms. Dad told Duncan that he wasn’t particularly fond of Caroline, Duncan’s wife, and they haven’t spoken since. Roo admitted to Alf that she got in touch with Duncan, and asked her dad to fix it. Alf refused and said Duncan had always prioritised something other than his family. Simmering with anger, Alf kicked Roo out of the house. Later, Roo apologised to Alf for interfering but insisted it’s time for him to make amends with his son. When Alf still didn’t agree, Roo left.

Meanwhile, Ash struggled with his finances, especially since Andy left them on a $50,000-lurch. Matt could tell something more than just the money, but Ash said he’s just stressed about the bank. Later, Kat received a call and she rushed to the garage with another officer. She served him a warrant to search the premises to find evidence related to the illegal rebirthing of cars.
