Man allegedly stabs ex-wife, mother-in-law, then dies in car crash

A man allegedly stabbed his ex-wife and motherin- law in the Nofei Sela neighborhood of Ma’aleh Adumim and then died crashing his car into a truck near Arad all in a period of hours Wednesday morning.

Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld confirmed that there are suspicions that the deceased man pulled from the wreckage of the Arad car crash on Route 31 was the Ma’aleh Adumim stabber.

Forensic specialists are currently comparing evidence from the two sites.

The ex-wife, 33, of the stabber, 30, was lightly wounded, while the mother- in-law, 53, was moderately wounded. They were evacuated by paramedics to Hadassah-University Medical Center, on Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus
