TES, in association with The Hindu and Club FM as media partners, organised a quiz programme titled, “What’s in Quiz” for the students of English Literature at Udyan Convention Centre, Vennala, Kochi, on Wednesday.
The event was conducted by Kalyani Vallath, Director of TES. Six teams of four persons each took part in the contest. K. Pradeep, Deputy Editor, The Hindu, Kochi, handed over the prizes. The first prize of Rs. 10,000 was bagged by Navamy T.S. and her team. Sooraj Vijayan and his team won the second prize of Rs. 7,500 while the third prize of Rs. 5,000 went to Elizabeth Kesiya and team. TES@Udyan is an institute grooming students for UGC NET. Ace of Clubs, an offshoot of TES to promote peer learning through games and activities at the postgraduate level, was also inaugurated on the occasion by A. Ramachandran, Vice-Chancellor of KUFOS.
