Swwapnil Joshi to host Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati

Back in the late 90s, Amitabh Bachchan popularised the quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The craze of that show was such that it inspired different versions in regional languages as well. One such was the Marathi version 'Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati' which had Sachin Khedekar as a host for two seasons.
Now, with the third season in the pipeline, the quiz show has got a new host- Swwapnil Joshi. Confirming the same to us, Swwapnil said, “I am currently preparing for the project.This format is not like any other hosting job. It requires you to engage in a one-to-one interaction with the participant as well as calm him/ her down in tense times and interact with the audience as well.”


Affirming the fact that the show’s concept is universal, Swwapnil aims to bring his charm to 'Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati'. “The whole world knows when the lights come one, what music to expect and the likes. My job is to put some Marathi essence in this format,” he said.
The actor, who is managing work and making the most of spending time with his newborn daughter Maayra, is also working on trademark lines that are synonymous to the show. “Yes there will be something on the lines of ‘lock kiya jaye’ and ‘computer ji se poochte hai’ but we are still working on that,” he shared.
