Endemol Shine Studios has signed a development with Guy Ritchie and producing partner Lionel Wigram’s Ritchie-Wigram Productions. Under the multi-year agreement, Ritchie and Wigram will develop scripted series projects for the studio, a division of Endemol Shine North America, with an eye toward the international market.

“Guy and Lionel’s brand is undeniable for this new global marketplace,” said Endemol Shine Studios president Sharon Hall. “We have already identified projects that extend that brand into TV with the same smarts and swagger they are well known for.”

The agreement is the first such production deal secured by Hall since she joined Endemol Shine in March. Ritchie-Wigram executives Jeff Ludwig and Ivan Atkinson will be responsible for the acquisition and development of new projects under the deal.

“We are very interested in the creative opportunities inherent in telling stories in a longer format,” said Ritchie and Wigram. “[Endemol Shine North America co-CEO and co-chairman] Charlie Corwin, Sharon Hall and their team are terrific new partners and we look forward to working with them.”
