The seventh convocation of GITAM University for candidates who have studied at its Visakhapatnam campus will be held here on August 20.
Candidates who have qualified for the award of degrees and diplomas during 2015-16 only are eligible to apply to get their originals .
According to Registrar M. Potharaju the candidates need not submit any application for the convocation.
Further, he informed that the challan generated for the payment of the convocation fee itself shall be treated as the application.
However, candidates have to fill in their contact details while generating the challan. Convocation fee is to be remitted through GITAM University challan at any branch of the Union Bank of India or Indian Bank and it can also be downloaded fromhttp://eweb.gitam.edu/ doereceipts
The last date for the payment of fee is July 25 and late submissions will be accepted up to July 30, with a late fee of Rs. 300.
Candidates eligible for the award of medals and first ranks shall be intimated individually.Admit cards can be downloaded from the university’s website:www.gitam.edufrom August 12.
