Release funds or will move HC: MK Stalin

Stalin visited his constituency Kolathur and listened to the grievances of residents, besides inspecting a few places.

Chennai: Leader of Opposition M.K. Stalin on Tuesday alleged that officials are not implementing the schemes from his constituency development fund and threatened to move the court if such schemes in constituencies of Opposition MLAs are blocked by officials.

Stalin visited his constituency Kolathur and listened to the grievances of residents, besides inspecting a few places. Speaking to the media later, Stalin said people wanted the renovation of Muthumariamman temple.

Another demand is that the power cables be buried under the ground to avoid frequent loss of lives and removal of garbage near Villivakkam railwaygate.

Stalin said in the Assembly he had raised the issue implementing projects from the constituency development funds of Opposition MLAs, but did not get a proper reply. The leader of Opposition said he is prepared to move the court on the issue.
