GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, along with Rajya Sabha member Dharampuri Srinivas, Telangana BJP President and others, planted tree saplings at Physical Education play ground in Domalguda as part of Haritha Haram programme here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor thanked the citizens and school managements for the overwhelming participation in Harithaharam programme. He said so far 29 lakh saplings have been planted.
In their speeches, Srinivas and Laxman explained the advantages of trees and thanked the College principal Ram Reddy and students of the Physical Education, Scouts and Guides for their participation. (INN)
