Habagat to bring moderate rains to western Luzon this Wednesday

The Habagat southwest monsoon will continue to affect the western sections of northern and central Luzon on Wednesday, bringing cloudy skies with light to moderate rains, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its afternoon forecast late Tuesday.

Thunderstorms are likely in the regions of Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao, Ilocos, Zambales and Bataan.

In Metro Manila, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected to prevail.

Meanwhile, as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was seen 170 km east of Surigao City, Surigao Del Norte. It is not expected to have any immediate effects on the country and may dissipate within the day.
