Hyderabad: A local court has directed Ranga Reddy District Child Welfare Committee (CWC) to take proper care and provide secure atmosphere to the seven-year-old daughter of slain Congolese woman, Cynthia Vechel.
Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police moved two separate petitions seeking custody of the accused, Rupesh Kumar, and seeking permission to collect blood samples of the girl to conduct a DNA test to identify the deceased.

The Upparpally court in Rajendranagar, hearing a private petition of Cynthia's family members in the city, has directed the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Ranga Reddy district to provide shelter and proper care to the seven-year-old Sania. Accordingly, the girl was shifted from her paternal grandparent's house at Padmarao Nagar to Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust NGO at Hydershakote two days ago.
"The court has directed the CWC to provide proper care to the girl as she is also a witness in the case," Cyberabad inspector C Harischandra Reddy said.
Meanwhile, the petition moved by police seeking custody of the culprit was posted for orders to Tuesday. Police sought three-day custody of Rupesh. Police also moved a separate petition to collect Sania's blood samples to conduct a DNA test to establish the identity of the deceased.
