Ramona Singer: Hair extensions company couldn’t afford me

When Page Six called Ramona Singer about hair extension brand Lux Beauty Club cutting ties with the “Real Housewife” over her “diva behavior,” Singer claimed that it was actually she who had dumped the company because they were “undercapitalized” — or, in less technical terms, “broke.”

But company founder Tori Flores told us that Singer got it wrong, again.

“I’m not sure that Ramona understands, but as a startup it’s called boot-strapping,” sniffed Flores, explaining that far from being short of cash, the company’s investing as much of its income as possible into developing the company, rather than splashing out on unnecessary expenses — like celebrity endorsements.
