Joint CP Rastogi takes charge

Nagpur: Joint police commissioner Santosh Rastogi, a former CBI officer, assumed charge on Monday. He took charge after Rajvardhan was transferred to Mumbai as IG prisons. Rastogi, an IPS of 1998 batch, was the officer who probed Central government’s 2G scam during his stint in the CBI.
Rastogi has been sent to city after repatriation from central deputation. Following Rastogi’s inclusion, city police chief SP Yadav now has almost a new team to assist him.
