Chamba, July 11

The three-day tour of the former Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, Prem Kumar Dhumal, to the district received a good response from the public.

The district BJP president, DS Thakur, said here today that PK Dhumal could be the best Chief Minister who would have a ‘balanced Cabinet’ in the state and work for the good of the people.

DS Thakur said the Chamera II and III Hydroelectric projects, Sheetla bridge across Ravi river on the Chamba-Pathankot National Highway, a regional hospital in Chamba, along with other roads, health and education networks, were the achievements of Dhumal during his two tenures as the Chief Minister.

“PK Dhumal is a common man’s leader, accessible to the masses,” added the district BJP president.
