TV personality Nambitha Ben-Mazwi has got herself a shiny new gig as a presenter on the weekend edition of Expresso.

But who is she? And why does she look so familiar?

We've got the lowdown.

She plays the role of Unathi Mweli on Mzansi Magic's Doubt

Nambitha recently scored a role as the sassy sister of a man who is arrested for the murder of a stripper, on the popular drama show.

"Unathi is quite something! She can be a piece of work, which might rub the audience the wrong way at times. But that was the challenging and exciting element for me. I took her arrogance and privilege and broke it down to insecurity and success,"she told Glamour of her character on the show

She was a finalist in the SABC Presenter Search last year.
If that didn't jog your memory, perhaps you will remember her as the wildcard entry in the Top 10 of the SABC reality show Presenter Search in 2015.

She's got that American cool
She might have been born in South Africa but Nambitha has also plied her trade in America, where she landed a hosting gig at New York City’s prestigious comedy club The Stand. It was here, surrounded by some of the biggest names in world comedy, that the acting and presenting bug bit.
